How to make a fairy face out of fondant

Today we are going to make a fairy face out of fondant. I’m that this magical figure will make your cake magical!
Let’s get started:
For this Fondant fairy face tutorial we will use:
60 gr. of ivory fondant
20 gr. of brown fondant
gel food coloring
Ovaniz fondant tools
Fondant fairy face tutorial, Step 1: The head
Take the 60 gr. of fondant and roll it in between your hands to smooth the fondant. Shape it in to head shape which resembles an egg. Wide at the forehead and narrow at the chin.

Make two indentations for the eyes using the dresden tool in the middle of the head.

Take a small piece of fondant and roll it in between your fingers into a small teardrop shape.

Attach it to the head in between the eye indentations.

With the dresden tool attach the nose to the head with small stroking motions. Use your fingers to shape the nose.

With the veining tool create nostrils.

Cut a slit for the mouth in the middle between the nose and the chin.
With the silicon, taper point tool shape the lips.

Cut two slits for the eyes at the indentations and open the eyes with the veining tool.
Insert two small pieces of white fondant into the eyes.
Draw the iris and the pupils using a number 0 brush and gel food colors.

Draw a thin black line and lashes on the eyes.
Draw eyebrows using brown food color.
Paint the lips with burgundy food color.
Fairy figurines for cakes Step 10: Hair
For the hair take a piece of brown fondant, roll it in between your hand into long, thin stripes, approx 8 cm long. We will need about 25-30 stripes.
Take a small piece of brown fondant, roll it out and attach to the head. This will be the base for the hair. Attach the hair stripes to the base.
For the ears take 2 small pieces of ivory fondant, shape them into a pointy teardrop, make an indent with the ball tool and attach the ears to the head between the hair locks.
